I think the one on the right is a QH. I guess that would be B.
I have both an Appendix and a QH...so it's silly that I can't really tell and I'm guessing.

No Fair, how much TB does the Apx/QA have in it? And are your examples "typey" or unusual to breed standards?
OK I'll play anyway: A is Apx/QH B is TB.

A=Ap/QH
B=TB
It is funny because I didn't see that there were options to guess from and those were my guesses even without multiple choice. I sure hope I'm right, otherwise, back to the drawing table!

We went out tonight to de-worm the horses and I got to look at my two up close and personal. With our QH you can feel the difference in muscles. Our Appendix does not have much of a hip. I agree with ELL that it depends on the Appendix, but typically isn't a QH deeper muscled than a TB?

Of course it's not fair! That's the fun. One butt is muscled and one is fat. So many TBs have scrawny hindquarters (not all -- my last one before this had a nicely filled out and muscled hind end). Good guesses, good reasoning. I'll let a few more people guess then I'll reveal at the end of the day. Thanks for playing!

My first visit to your site, and thank you, by the way, for the link to my blog. I started laughing when I saw this photo because I have thought of posting a picture of my donkey's behind. Just because I can't resist the humor.
I'm sure I'm not making a very good first impression.
This looks like a lot of great and fun information, as does your other blog. How do you do it?? I cannot keep up with one.
Blessings to you, Anne with an "E".
