Sometimes it's too dark to ride. Or rainy. Or cold. Sometimes, let's face it, you have to come into the house. But your house isn't clean. It doesn't smell like hay and shavings. Only the clothes hamper smells like horses. Home is not the barn.
Perhaps you should acknowledge your need for, you know, people furniture. Maybe that new flatscreen TV you got for Christmas would look better (and be more stable) if it weren't perched on your old tack trunk. Maybe your vet bills won't be too high this month and you can shop for home entertainment furniture.
If you do it online, you'll have more time to spend at the barn. Then, this summer, when the Olympics come on, you'll really be able to enjoy watching the horses. Until then, think how handy a new entertainment center will be for displaying trophies, ribbons and pictures of your horses.
Aah... but how much better would it be to have the entertainment system out in the stables to watch any horse events while hanging with the equine friends? ;)

we got a new 42 inch Samsung flatscreen for X-mas. Ive been after hubs to mount it over the fireplace ever since.....Im scared it's going to get broke on the TV stand!
I have a stool near the back door where we pile our barn clothes....I also have a plugin airwick thingy back there in a half-*ss attempt to cover the manure smell. But, I LIKE horse manure!
